I love watching movies. But, it can be hard to find a good one. I am very familar with scrolling through Amazon trying to find a good movie and ending up taking an hour to find one. So, I hope this blog post helps you find some good movies and reviews. I also hope that this helps you save your time looking for movies.
Knives Out- The circumstances surrounding the death of crime novelist Harlen Thrombey are mysterious, but, there's one thing that detective Benoit Blanc knows for sure-- everyone in the wildly dysfunctional Thrombey family is a suspect.
Another one of my ultimate favorite movies is The Help. It's based off the events of 1962 in Jackson, Mississippi. It's about a young white woman and journalist, Skeeter Phelan. The story focuses on her friendship with two black maids, Aibileen Clark and Minny Jackson. It's a very interesting perspective on the blacks point of view from 1962. The cast in the movie are very similar to the characters in the book.
This next series I'm going to be sharing with you is actually a TV show! It's BBC's updated Sherlock Holmes starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock and Martin Freeman as Sherlock's companion, John Watson. Each episode is an hour and a half. I love the creativity of this series! It's so fun to watch. There's no inapropiate scenes and HARDLY any cussing.
If you are uncomfortable with watching any of these due to language or anything else there's this setting called ClearPlay you can use. It is a parental control streaming service that filters bad scenes and words. It automatically skips over and/or mutes anything you don't want being seen or heard. Unfortunately ClearPlay only works for Amazon Prime movies and shows. Another factor is that it only works for certain movies and TV shows.
