In this blog I'll be writing about travel essentials. Something I like to say is, "it's better to overpack then underpack" because you never know what you're going to end up needing. I hope these tips and tricks will help you become a better packer and learn what you're going to need to have a successful vacation.

#1 essential is ALWAYS pack a bathing suit. Even if you're not going to the beach, your hotel might have a pool and it's a good thing to just keep in your suitcase anyway. A list of things you'll need are: toiletries (including deodorant, hair and tooth brush, and tooth paste), sunscreen, one extra outfit (example: if you're staying for 7 days pack 8 outfits so you have an extra), a book and journal, a camera, snacks, open toe shoes and tennis shoes, a sweatshirt, money, etc. There have been so many times that I've gone to the beach or somewhere with a warm climate and I didn't bring a sweatshirt because it's hot outside but I never thought about how cold it might be inside. You should always remember to bring something to keep you warm even if it's not a sweatshirt.

Once your outfits have been planned and packed, it's time to focus on the things—particularly those items you absolutely can't forget. Consider this your go-to checklist for any trip. Here are some basic things that are key for travelling: wallet, passport, phone/computer charger, reusable water bottle, hand sanitizer, skincare products, camera, travel journal, pencil/pen, walking shoes, headphones, sunglasses, pajamas, weather-dependant items (Such as an umbrella), travel pillow and eye covering (for planes), toiletry bag, first aid kit, and last but certainly not least, chapstick.
